WANS 3E ACUPUNCTURE & CHINESE MEDICINE
Giorgio Repeti, L. Ac. completed an intense four-five year traditional traditional Chinese medical apprenticeship
under the late Grandmaster Dr. W. G. Wan. Grandmaster Wan founded
the 3E acupuncture and Chinese medicine method and was also the
founder of the United Institute of Chinese Medicine in Hong Kong
in 1948.
Grandmaster Wan named this style 3E because he
felt that the number 3 has special meaning both in Buddhist and
Taoist spiritual terms. The “E”s represent Grandmaster
Wan's beliefs about the ideal structure in traditional Chinese
medical treatment. Grandmaster Wan insisted that, in treatment,
the delivery should always be Easy, Efficient, and Economical. Grandmaster Wan insisted that using few points and needles in treatment
is the mark of an advanced system of acupuncture therapy. Giorgio
follows this theory and uses few needles, typically using only
one or two points at the same time. Three or four points are used
for certain ailments.
In honour of Dr Wan, Giorgio (along with his students) has created Wans 3E Clinical Applications, after the textbook. Please visit the site for more information, click here
